See for Yourself - Sex Before Marriage

Okay, I'm fasting from Facebook, but not my blog.
I am still going to post this, so people will see it.

So, premarital sex.
Something that, especially recently, is not uncommon.
Tons of TV shows have it in them.
I bet you could name ten.
But just because the media is okay-ing it, because people in your school are, should you?

Well, if you call yourself a Christian, if you want to follow the Bible, the answer is clear.
Sex before marriage is not okay.

So basically this is saying, God has someone picked out for each of us.
The whole "Your prince charming will come" thing, that's legit.
If it is in God's plan for you to be married some day, someone WILL come along who will be worth the wait.
This is true for guys and girls. "Lovely as an angel, beautiful as a rose."
"Why would you trade enduring intimaces for cheap thrills with a whore? For dalliance with a promiscuous stranger?"
Why would you trade what God intends to be special between you and your Mr. or Mrs. Right for someone who wont always be there.
Why would you give yourself away for just a moment of thrill, when God wants never ending happiness for you and the right person.

Okay, explanation time.
This pretty much is saying.
There's more to sex than what someone might think.
Its not something to do... just because.
Its for when you get married.
When "two become one."
"In sexual sin we violate the sacredness of our own bodies, these bodies that were made for God-given and God-modeled love"
Something as special as the body God gave you, why would you want to violate yourself?
Please, ladies and gentlemen, respect yourselves.
In doing that, you respect God.
"Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for?"
Jesus died for you, so that you can have this life, have your body.
And for you to just give it away would be a tragedy.

Sexual drives are strong, but marriage is strong enough to contain them and provide for a balanced and fulfilling sexual life in a world of sexual disorder.” 1 Corinthians 7:1-4 MSG

Okay, this one I typed, cause biblegateway did not cooperate in giving me only the verses I want.
So is sex good? Yes, but only when you do it right. In marriage.
Sex with someone you are not married to is not a good idea.
It doesn't just affect you physically, it effects you emotionally.
And marriage is strong enough to overcome that,
but when you're not married, there's no commitment.

Click... you know the drill.
You might say you cant control yourself.
Or you're so in love, you just have to.
Or the other person talks you into it.
But remember, you're never tempted beyond what you (with God in you) can handle.
No matter how much you feel like you "have" to do it, remember God is right there with you,
giving you the strength to stay pure.


So, that's what the Bible has to say about it!
